Paul Vezgoff is the Principal Consulting Arborist of Moore Trees.  Paul holds AQF Level 5 qualifications in Arboriculture.  Paul has extensive experience in arboriculture and horticulture fields, together with his work in Local Government in a technical capacity.   

We are located in the Illawarra area and have been assessing and reporting on school trees from southern Sydney area to Campbelltown, Southern Highlands and as far as Ulladulla on the South Coast since 2014.  We provide follow-up inspections to a number of schools in and around our area, Sydney and Southern Highlands. 

Moore Trees has been appointed to the Arboricultural Consultancy panel for the City of Sydney Council for over 5 years.  Moore Trees also provide arborist services to Wollongong City Council as part of the Consultancy panel and have worked for many other local government offices.  Moore Trees have worked on many large-scale projects for BuildCorp, Stocklands, Health Infrastructure, Sydney Water, and undertake annual risk assessments of trees and vegetation along the M5 Motorway.

  • Arboricultural Assessment Report for Garrawarra Cemetery (Waterfall)
    Arborist Assessment Report for rehabilitation of the Cemetery associated with Garrawarra Hospital for patients that died of Tuberculosis between 1915-1948.
  • Arboricultural Assessment Report for Callan Park, Balmain
    Assess the impacts of the proposed development works being a public skate boarding park and community space within historic Callan Park.
  • Arboricultural Assessment Report for Gleniffer Brae Cottage
    Assess the impacts of repairing the heritage listed retaining wall that is within the grounds of a Paul Sorensen landscape design within the grounds of Gleniffer Brae cottage.

    Assessment of Heritage Trees as a part of the Street Tree Master Plan for Orange City Council in association with Landscapes Architects Spackman Mossop Michaels.
  • Arboricultural Assessment of Blackburn Gardens Fig, Woollahra Municipal Council
    Tree hazard and risk assessment for Woollahra Municipal Council concerning a Heritage Fig Tree located within Blackburn Gardens, Double Bay.
  • Fungal and Soil Pathogen Report for Victoria Barracks Paddington
    An Arboricultural Report to assess the health and condition of trees located at Victoria Barracks, Paddington and more specifically to address the issue of soil pathogens and fungal diseases on site. The report made recommendations based on current industry practice in implementing control methods and procedures in order to manage any occurrence of a soil pathogen or fungal outbreak within the site for Phytophthora Root Rot (Phytophthora cinnamomi), Armillaria Root Rot (Armillaria luteobubalina), Fusarium Wilt of palms (Fusarium oxysporum), Myrtle Rust (Puccinia psidii s.l.), Botryosphaeria sp., Ganoderma Butt Rot  (Ganoderma applanatum).
  • Construction impacts to Heritage Pine Trees for Wollongong City Council
    Assessment of construction impacts to Norfolk Island Pines for Wollongong City Council in relation to footpath and road upgrade works.
  • Picus Sonic Tomograph Testing for Heritage Fig Trees at Observatory Hill, Sydney
    Tree ultrasound and risk assessment for several visually prominent Fig Trees at Observatory Hill for the City of Sydney Council.
  • Arboricultural Assessment at the Scottish Hospital Paddington
    Hazard assessment of Heritage tree located within a Heritage property in Paddington NSW.
